Debuting Ballet Flats at TOMS

TOMS has been busy. I thought he was going to have one collection of shoes, but he surprised us with his eyewear and then his collaboration with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s high-end label, The Row, on a line of cashmere slip-ons. For Spring 2012 TOMS will be launching ballet flats!

Blake Mycoskie, founder of TOMS, started developing the ballet flats around the same time as the awesome wedges, which launched last summer. The first upscale version of the ballet flat will debut at Neiman Marcus for $129. Then the TOMS main ballet flat collection will launch at other participating retailers starting at $74. Pictured are a few of the upcoming prints and colors available. Of course, for every pair sold, a pair of TOMS shoes will be donated to a child in need.
